Edward London

Ed London served as the 22nd President and subsequently Chairman of the Board of Directors of both the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc., (NAREB) and the Empire Board of Realtists (EBR). He is also, currently National Historian for NAREB and the NAREB Foundation, Inc., and formerly NAREB’s Chaplain. He has obtained the designations of Certified Real Estate Manager (CREM) from the Real Estate Management Brokers Institute (REMBI) and Senior Real Estate Appraiser (CRA) from the National Society of Real Estate Appraisers (NSREA), both affiliate organizations of NAREB. He is an active state of Georgia Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and has appraised residential and commercial real properties for more than thirty (30) years.
Mr. London has served on the Boards of the Fulton County Board of Zoning Appeals, the Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity, the Atlanta Urban Residential Finance Authority (URFA), the Atlanta Development Authority (ADA) a/k/a Invest Atlanta, and the Atlanta Cooperative Development Corporation (ACDC) among others. In addition, he has served on the national advisory boards of the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac), the CHASE Home Finance Corporation, and The White House Minority Home Ownership Task Force.
He has also served on the Georgia Real Estate Commission’s Education Advisory Committee and the Commission’s Task Force on Brokerage. Among his many professional awards and recognitions is the National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education’s (NAFEO) Outstanding Alumnus of the Year Award. He is the author of Principles of Real Estate Management, a book he was commissioned by the Georgia Real Estate Commission to write.
Ed has earned Doctorates both in Ministry (DMin. Degree) and Jurisprudence (J.D. Degree), and master’s degrees in Business Administration (M.B.A. Degree) and Divinity (MDiv. Degree). Among his other professional and community affiliations, he is an ordained Baptist Preacher, former Dean of Students and Chapel, Carver Baptist College; currently Dean of the 5th District, Congress of Christian Education, General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia; and, currently Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Property Assessors.
