Sharon McLennon has been a business owner and entrepreneur since 2000.
A licensed CPA and real estate broker, Ms. McLennon founded independent real estate brokerage Splendor Realty and its sister company Renaissance Property Managers to meet the brokerage and management needs of out of area property owners in 2002.
Under her leadership, both companies have flourished. In 2014, the property management affiliate rebranded to Renaissance Management Group and began managing condominium communities as well as commercial facilities.
Renaissance currently manages a portfolio of properties valued at more than $20 million and provides facility maintenance and repairs services to the Federal government.
Active in the community, Ms. McLennon is a current appointee to the affordable housing advisory committees in both Lauderhill and the City of Pompano Beach and has served on several boards including the Broward Affordable Housing Taskforce and the Housing Foundation of America. She is a past president of the South Florida Board of Realtists and the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce. She has also served as chairwoman of the Lauderhill YMCA advisory board.
Ms. McLennon holds Bachelors’ and Masters’ degrees in Economics from the City College of New York, and a Masters’ in Business Administration from Baruch College of the City University of New York.
